In last one year we faced fluctuation in DWDM DCN Network and different cause and different solution found;

Friends I am now sharing with you case by case in different posts in this forum.

Case-2: All NE goes offline and after sometimes it comes again online

NE Type: OSN6800

Alarms: NE_NOT_LOGIN alarms in U2000

Analysis: At first NMS design docment analysed. It is found that all GNE(primary & secondary) connection is normal GNE connection mode is revertive. And all NEs are connected to primary GNE; No switching happened.

Findings: After analysis we became sure that no problem in GNE. Then we analysed the U2000 server connectivity; There is two U2000 server; One is primary another is secondary; It is found that HA(High Availability) link between primary and secondary was disconnecetd and henc both server was acting as primary; hence fluctuation occurs;

Solution: HA link is then manually established and one server was forcefully made secondary; Thus problem solved

Good post! We have the same problem once with HA system. Some guy decide that the connection was not necessary and disconnet it! Jajajajaja!

My friend, you mean for recovery the HA (Primary and Secondary), first Do we force one server to secondary and second establish the HA link manually?. Thanks.
