During upgradation NE software calculates the optimal activation groups and sequences. Grouping can be done manually also. Software activation happens in group order one after another. So when there are multiple service board, they can be grouped according to service importance

Do you mean the Board-Level Activation? In Board-level activation mode, the NE software automatically calculates the optimal activation groups, and the boards can be grouped according to the given rules.
