could you please explain how to make SMSR test? just the power of the center wavelength and power of next wawelength when there is only 1 lambda? and what is the acceptable limits of SMSR?

SMSR is tested using an optical spectrum analyzer. The components should be connected as shown in the following figure.

 

During the test, ensure that the resolution of the optical spectrum analyzer is higher than the maximum spectrum width of the longitudinal mode.

In addition, the minimum side mode suppression ratio must comply with the module specifications.
