Hi, do you know if is possible create a protect-group between different uplink boards as GICK and X2CS? or only is possible between the same type of boards?

Thanks!

It?s not possible according to the documentation, only boards of the same type can be bound to a PG for upstream ports. Other issue that I see in your deployment it?s the different rates supported by the GICK and the X2CS, one is 2xGE and the otherone 2x10GE.

Check this from the document

When the protection is between the active and standby control boards, inter-board PG is not supported. In other cases, only the inter-board PG between boards with the same type (such as PG between GIUs and PG between ETHBs) is supported. In the inter-board PG between ETHBs, the two boards must be bound first.
