I observed that if   two LOG( for example LOG-A & LOG-B) is cross-connected in following ways
RX1/TX1(LOG-A) connected to LP-8(LOG-B)
RX2/TX2(LOG-A) connected to LP-7(LOG-B)
RX3/TX3(LOG-A) connected to LP-6(LOG-B)
RX4/TX4(LOG-A) connected to LP-5(LOG-B)

then it is not possible to cross connect remaining unused RX/TX ports of LOG-A with remaining unused LP ports of LOG-B. hence you should be careful during this type of planning.

It may be due to internal BUS limitation. Does anybody experience this type of thing?

The LOG board hast this limitation according to confirmation and test.

Hi tanjil: can you tell us what ports are used by SNCP protection. I knew all the unused ports can be used for cross-connection.

Hi hudichang, this was the operation I performed more than two years ago during SNCP configuration. At that time local huawei expert also ensured me. Thats why I shared with you.

Already faced this issue in our network, i thinks it is physical limitation of the backplan/electrical BUS or the board version itself

maybe the issue will be solved with new board version with newer hardware
