l[Symptom]: The SGSN is connected to the HLR. When a 3G service is tested, the USIM card user authentication on the 3G network fails.
l[Cause Analysis]:
pAfter message tracing was performed, when the SGSN requested the authentication set in the HLR, the HLR returned an authentication triplet, instead of an authentication quintuple. Then, the SGSN sent an authentication failure report indicating that the authentication failed and the cause value was wrongNetworkSignature.

pAfter the code streams were analyzed, it was found that in the MAP_OPEN_REQ message sent by the SGSN, the MAP version carried in the tc application context IE in the tcap begin portion was PHASE2.

[Solution]: After the MAP version was changed to MAP3 on the
SGSN side, the authentication was successful.
