Calling for Tech Support App Beta Testers The Huawei Tech Support app is now live! What were the highlights of the app for you? Any usage tips or tricks youd like to share? What about suggestions for improvement? Share your story. Prizes The list of winners will be announced in the Tech Support (APP) area of the Support&HedEx public group. Every other participant will receive 500 points. l 1 Best Reply: awarded a Huawei Honor 7 smartphone l 1 Popular Reply: awarded an Honor Zero smartwatch l 10 Impressive Replies: each awarded a SD card l 30 Proactive Participants: each awarded 1000 points Participation Ensure that the app youre testing is the latest version before giving your feedback. An new version will be released on October 1. Reply at Tech Support (APP) area in Support&HedEx public group. Your title must start with: [Huawei Tech Support App] Feedback on and completed in your own words.
Your reply must contain: l Either your independent review of the app, or a comparison with competitor apps l At least 100 words with 2 image attachments View the first reply post for a sample reply.
Timetable l Submission period September 10 till noon of October 28 The trial period for new app highlights starts on October 10 as the new app will be released on that day. l Judging period October 26 till midnight of October 28 l Announcement of prize winners October 29 Scoring l Each winner must have posted at least one eligible reply. l Feedback that stands out, such as a video review, will earn additional points. l At the end of the submission period, the review panel selects one Best Reply and 11 Outstanding Replies. l The list of 11 Outstanding Replies will be posted on October 16 in the Bulletins area on the app and open for voting. The reply with the most votes will be awarded Popular Reply, and the remaining awarded Impressive Replies. Rules l Only one prize can be claimed per user. l The Support & HedEX Platform Operations team reserves the final word on all terms, conditions, and any other matter regarding this activity. Ola! Just my 2 cents. The name is misleading. Many people in Google Play Store are looking for technical support for their phones, tablets, etc. When they discover what the app is all about they are leaving negative feedback to an otherwise useful app. Its funny how someone was looking for info on their Honor or something and BAM!, they get docs on MSOFTX. :D Also, why on Earth does the app permissions look like Im installing Big Brother on my phone? Heck, just add and call recording and call it a day. Or BSC6910 does that for you? ;-) For an app in such infancy I doubt all those permissions are needed. Later on, when you implement some advanced features, itd be okay. Maybe. Oh, do I get a cookie? :-) |

Thanks for your kindly feedback! and sorry for any inconvenience to you. How about search keyword "Huawei Tech Support"? Would you please provide more details about your first point. I dont quite understand the second issue. Do you mean our App functions do not meet your requirement? or you cant find the product documentation you want? What advanced features do you suggest? If any screenshots about above issues, will be better and intuitive.Looking forward to your further reply.Thanks! |

The GUI is bit sluggish. if you press on any link, it switches position so quickly that you actually lands on some other link. Also there is no option for back.. I even got a blank White page when I pressed Home button. Attached is the view on the IOS app. Also in bulletin, we are not sure whether we need to reply or its just the feedback? |
