HSI sevivce over GPON network is suffering from very low speed. a profile of 50M dw and 25M up

Used products: MA5600T (OLT) and HG8245 (ONT)

After deep analysis, we find that ONT is discarding the traffic due to running encryption mode "TKIP". in the user side, it is by default "AES".

 

After adjusting the encryption mode in the ONT side to "AES&TKIP" , the problem is solved and serivce target rates are reached in both downstream and upstream.

Yes, you are right. it "TKIP" not "TKES".

The problem is the encryption mode of ONT is "TKIP". The link speed of "TKIP" is only 54M, and in the actual test case, the speed will be lower than 54M, and it may lead to low speed.
The link speed of "AES" can be 144M, and it can meet the demand of the test case. So you should change the encryption mode to "AES" to finish the test. Thank you.
