Features

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Green and efficient

The ATCA-based OSTA 2.0 hardware platform features a large capacity, high performance, high integration, and low power consumption, which lowers the operational expenditure (OPEX). Advanced IP network O&M solutions help to visualize the IP network structure and enable self-diagnosis and self-recovery of IP network problems, greatly improving the O&M efficiency. The MSC Pool solution effectively balances traffic load and helps to simplify the network structure. In addition, comprehensive call records and the call simulation system ensure that subscriber concerns are handled quickly and efficiently.

Seamless migration

The fax and call services are compatible between the CDMA2000 network, next generation network (NGN), and even IP multimedia subsystem (IMS). The ATCA-based SingleCORE solution supports migration to the ICS architecture, protecting the operators investment.

Applications & Benefits

Our CDMA2000 CSOFTX3000 mobile switching centers are currently deployed in more than 80 countries and regions all over the world. In June 2010, ATCA-based CDMA2000 mobile switching centers were successfully deployed for the first time by Movistar in Peru, which greatly helped Movistar simplify its network structure and improve the O&M efficiency. With remarkable scalability and seamless network migration capability, the CDMA2000 mobile switching centers have paved the way for Movistar to develop integrated services in the future. In November 2010, ATCA-based CDMA2000 mobile switching centers were used to migrate the network of Asia Pacific Telecom (APT) in Taiwan into an All-IP network which features higher transmission efficiency and requires lower OPEX. In addition, the deployment of the MSC Pool solution in Taiwan, a geologically active region with frequent earthquakes, helps to balance traffic load and improve the disaster recovery capability of the network.
