Testing plan for eMLPP:

 

FAST CALL testing:

 

For level-0 subscribers All MO/MT/all services will omit the authentication, encryption, and TMSI reassignment during the call setup.

 

For level-1 subscribers only MO call services will omit the authentication, encryption, and TMSI reassignment during the call setup.

 

For level-3&4 subscribers, NO fast call setup, i.e. authentication, encryption, and TMSI reassignment will be performed according to the system configuration.

 

 

Call Priority testing:

 

For level-0 subscribers All call prefixes will get the priority

For level-1 subscribers,BanglalinkMOcalls will get the priority

For level-2 subscribers,GPMOcalls will get the priority

 

Radio Priority testing:

 

Radio priority: It specifies the radio priority parameters carried in the channel allocation request sent from the MSC to the BSC. Through analyzing the radio priority parameters, the BSC/RNC allocates the radio channel.

 

Below mapping is proposed at MSC: for Radio priority mapping:

 

Subscriber priority in HLR	Radio priority
Priority level-0	Radio priority level-10
Priority level-1	Radio priority level-11
Priority level-2	Radio priority level-12
Priority level-3	Radio priority level-13
Priority level-4	Radio priority level-14

 

Testing areas:

 

For Priority level-0,1 subscriber:

o   Preemption capability: Yes

o   Preemption allowed: No

o   Queue allowed: Yes

For Priority level-2,3,4 subscriber:

o   Preemption capability: No

o   Preemption allowed: Yes

o   Queue allowed: Yes
