Hi, I have used this app. Only half of the barcode scanning worked on, the other half had to drive yourself. Barcodes near lamps are not scanned. Used different phones may think this is the case.
As everything else the app is very convenient. Thank you!

Would you explain more about "Only half of the barcode scanning worked on, the other half had to drive yourself"? Do you mean that you can not scan the barcode successfully but input the SN of the barcode instead? Or do you mean only 50% of the barcode can be scanned successfully such as when the barcode is pasted near the LED of the board?

 

The barcode scanning function will be officially released in early September. The development team will check the case you mentioned.

near the lamps can not be scanned barcode. Sticker too close to the lamp and be the scanner can not read the barcode.

    And sometimes some of barcodes not be scanned at all.  Scanner focused on barcode, but the app. do not read. If enter code manually then everything is fine.

I will check the case "Sticker too close to the lamp and be the scanner can not read the barcode" and figure out if there is a solution to improve it.

 

As for the case " Scanner focused on barcode, but the app. do not read. If enter code manually then everything is fine", the new version of the APP is added with a function that you can open the flash lamp on the phone when scanning the barcode in dark environment. I hope this would help improve the scanning function.

 

Besides, Im very glad you are interested in this function and have tried it. I will keep following the cases you mentioned and let you know the progress.

I hope there will be a convenient tool. We will wait scanning tool for the equipment DWDM

But while the maintenance engineer hasnt enough smartphones for this purpose...

It will be a very useful app and I think the OAM&Ps customer will be interested too. Is there any restriction for them?. Please notice last part of case is missing. Thank you very  much.

Hi in my Huawei Tech App, when I click on query tab, only shows the alarm and command menus. Why the scan menu is not diplayed?
