near the lamps can not be scanned barcode. Sticker too close to the lamp and be the scanner can not read the barcode.

    And sometimes some of barcodes not be scanned at all.  Scanner focused on barcode, but the app. do not read. If enter code manually then everything is fine.

I hope there will be a convenient tool. We will wait scanning tool for the equipment DWDM

But while the maintenance engineer hasnt enough smartphones for this purpose...

Thanks for the reply. You can use the tool to scan the DWDM  boards and got some basic information such as BOM and board name as shown in the following picture. For detailed information such as LED are not ready yet.

I edit the pictures again. Please check whether you can see them.

Maybe its a nice tool for field engineers who can easily obtain the necessary board bom code and information with their smart phone.
