GTP, short for the GPRS tunneling protocol, is used to exchange
information between GPRS support nodes.

 

lTwo versions of GTP are available:
GTPv0 and GTPv1.

 

lGTP consists of GTP-Control plane
(GTP-C) and GTP-User plane (GTP-U) protocols.
