Mapping between logical and transport channels (Uplink)

Examples of carried data:

? RACH: control information from UE to the UTRAN.

– Connection set-up request.

– Small amounts of packet data.

? DCH: dedicated traffic and control information. It may contain several DTCH. (Similar to the one in DL)

? CPCH: a common transport channel for packet data transmission. (Extention of RACH)
