Hi Dears, somebody know how clear the alarms active in the UA5000 versionV100R017C02SPC600?

I have a problem with the alarms of IPMB ETH port that appear in the N2000 after sync the alarms and I cannot delete.

Any help will be appreciated :)

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Can you feedback the alarm ID? or alarm name? The figure is not clear.

Thanks.

Hi Neen,

The alarm description in the N2000 is "The Ethernet port link status changes from up to down" and in the UA5000 the alarm details is:

ALARM 1143 FAULT MAJOR 0x0a31a0dd EQUIPMENT 2014-05-30 16:55

ALARM NAME  : Port link status changes from up to down

 PARAMETERS  : FrameID: 0, SlotID: 2, PortID: 5

DESCRIPTION : Port link status changes from up to down

 CAUSE       : Port offline

ADVICE      : Check the port state,if normal, change the wire

These ports never were used and now they are in shutdown, therefore the port never was in UP state, I dont know why this alarm appear each time that we sync the alarms form the N2000, aparently they are active. The customer want apply a filter because when this alarm appear in a port that is working the equipment will not reported.

Thanks!

Hi Cherry,

The problem is that the ports are in shoutdown, never are in Up state therefore this alarm should not appear. The idea is eliminate or clear this alarm in the UA5000. If you know how do it, please let me know. Thanks!
