Hi all, Ill share about about codec in my upcoming few posts.

Codec:

device to encode information from its original representation into an encoded form and to decodeencoded informationinto its original representation

Transcoder:

device to change the encoding of information from one particular encoding scheme to a differentone, mostcommonly to/from a compressed speech algorithm from/to PCM.

oImplemented in VPU board in MGWs
