Dear admin,

One day I found that  during the configuration of the MMS service for a region lying far a way from the WAP gateway of the customer side the configuration of the GGSN and the firewall is ok and the configuration in the WAP gateway and the AAA servers is also ok the authentication and accounting is normal while the MS can not send and receive MMS messages.

Then I put this problem to Huawei support website & got my success.

 

Huawei Solution

The handling of this problem is by configuring the router of the IT in the way between the GGSN, Firewall side and the WAP gateway side by adding a route in for the MS network range using the command 

ip route-static 172.19.0.0 255.255.0.0  10.30.16.1 

So each router in the way between the MMS side the GPRS side should contain two networks one is for the Giif IP network and the other is for the MS IP network segment. 

During the installation of the MMS service each router in the way between the GGSN and the WAP gateway should include two routing information one for the AAA servers and WAP gateway network and the other is for the MS IP segment range.
