i was supporting Orange (Spain) on LTE project where  i was looking into the optimization of first carrier (700 Mhz) band but at the same time customer also launched 2nd carrier of LTE (1800 Mhz) band to increase the capacity but this didnt work out as all the traffic was being carried away by first carrier and one of the traffic was taken by 2nd carrier ,Customer asked me to work on the traffic balancing with immediate effect but since LTE was new and lauching of 2nd carrier was even new ,no one in the region was having knowledge of balancing traffic between LTE carriers.Then i started searching the concepts and load balancing parameters on Hedex where it was very clearly mentioned about the default parameter setting and what impact  there will be on network on increasing or decreasing the value.With the help of Hedex i tried to implement some of the parameter changes in the netwrk and got success as there was huge inprovement in Traffic balacing .This is my success story where Hedex was the only source of help to me.
