This alarm is reported when there is no valid license in the system.

NEs can use only the functions in the basic feature package (specified by the BASIC parameter in the license file) of a carrier.

System Actions

None.

Possible Causes

The values of all control items are 0 in the license file when the system starts.

Procedure

1.     Remotely check license file information.

a.   Run the MML command DSP LICENSEINFO to check whether the value of all control items are 0.

Y=>If the values of all control items are 0, go to step 2.

N=>If the values of not all control items are 0,Contact the Equipment Manufacturer

2.     Purchase a commercial license from Huawei and install the license file.

a.   Contact Huawei and purchase a commercial license.

b.   On the M2000, choose License > NE License Management > WiMAX BTS Network License Management to issue the license. Wait for the new commercial license to be received before proceeding.

Check whether the alarm is cleared.

Y=>If the alarm is cleared, the corrective procedure ends.

                  N=>If the alarm persists, Contact the Equipment Manufacturer.
