There is difference between versions, so remote authentication users cannot log in after the version is upgraded. On box switches of V100R002, local authentication is used first. If there is no local user, remote authentication is used. Both the local account and remote account can be used to log in to the switch. After the version is upgraded, only local authentication is performed. If authenticationmode local radius or authentication-mode local hwtacacs is used, the remote account cannot be used to log in to the switch after upgrade.

Configure the switch to use remote authentication and then local authentication.
