On a network where Diameter and Radius devices coexist, the Diameter-Radius Translation service enables the signaling service processing system (SPS) to convert Diameter messages received from Diameter devices to Radius messages before sending them to Radius devices. Figure 1 shows the implementation of the Diameter-Radius Translation service.
