Definition

The Multi-Host service enables a Diameter routing agent (DRA) to be divided into multiple virtual DRAs to interwork with multiple network elements (NEs). These virtual DRAs function as Diameter agent (DA) entities and are configured with different realm names and host names. Figure 1 shows the background for the Multi-Host service.
