We are now implementing ASON in our DWDM Network.

Hence we divided our activity in following phases:

            Phase 1: Network Assessment and optimization
            Phase 2: SW upgrade for NE & U2000
            Phase 3: Low Level Design
            Phase 4: Install 8800 in core sites
            Phase 5: Service migration
            Phase 6: Equipment migration
            Phase 7: Expansion designer
            Phase 8: Expansion commissioning
            Phase 9: Enable ASON feature

I want to ask you few things,

first, what do you mean by service migration?

and if I understand correctly you expanded your network to enable ASON, I have a question, if I have a network with OSN 8800 and OSN 6800 and already created services and I want to apply ASON, I just preserve the already created OCHs and create ASON services after deleting original services?
