hello Raihan & Iris, 

for above mentioned query, i think in that case both point transmit end & received end need to be same frame size otherwise mismatch will occur and resulting data loss or total failure. please advise if i am wrong.

Dear athar,

In my opinion, we can set the MFL(maximum frame length) on both ends, just be sure the package from transmit end is not larger than the receive end, then there would be no package loss. There is no need to make exactly the same in both ends.

 

Thats my personal thinking, please talk with me if I was wrong : )
