[Transport Bit] Huawei RTN: Birth and Evolution
|
Huawei RTN is a rising star in microwave communications, commanding impressive sales in markets around the world. The Huawei RTN product line is always working hard at improving the functions of its offerings. The following presentation shares the continuous breakthroughs in performance, reliability, maintainability, and enhanced subscriber experience in Huawei microwave.
Looking back, we can see that microwave has undergone two significant stages in its development: 1. From the 50s to the 90s, analog microwave, PDH microwave, and SDH microwave dominated the microwave market. 2. Early in the 21st century, the development of wireless and IP technologies sparked a microwave revolution from which IP microwave emerged. Huawei RTN products combined PDH/SDH microwave and IP microwave technologies to suit the various transmission environments.
Huawei RTN: Birth Since 2008, profound changes have taken place in mobile networks.
To accommodate these new demands, Huawei has continued to innovate it microwave offerings. In just a few short years, Huawei RTN has become the first choice among many global Tier-1 operators and has ranked in the top 3 in the global microwave market since 2010 (source: Skylight Research).
Huawei RTN: Evolution Since 2013, Huawei RTN has extended its reach in LTE, long-haul backbone, and metro backbone transmission. The RTN 900 series provide a full range of multi-layer microwave solutions to better serve customers.
Evolution to Full-Outdoor Compared with traditional microwave equipment, Huawei FO equipment combines all components into one outdoor case, reducing costs by eliminating the need of an indoor equipment room. In addition, Huawei FO equipment is deployed directly with wireless base stations to provide a full-outdoor microwave transport solution.
Future Orientations Huawei has accumulated 184 microwave patents and has no intention of letting off the gas. Gearing up for the future, Huawei RTN is sure to offer the best mobile backhaul network with the following benefits:

| You can find the new IF boards(for example, ISM6 or ISV3)in the newest Hardware Description manual. And about the features you can reference the Feature Description manual. And there are some feature introduction videos which can help you learn them quickly. All the manuals and vdideos are on the support website (http://support.huawei.com/carrier/navi#col=product&path=PBI1-7275726/PBI1-7275738/PBI1-7275894). |

RTN 900 families of radio that opérate very good but only one bad design and this is 1- the conector IF of modem is tipe N the best is SNA and use a cable to arrester ( connector tipe N ) i think you make a distribuition for arrester so teh cable from ODU to distribuidor of arrester and from DFA ( dist frame of arrester ) to ISX2 for example
the main idea is save cooper to protect radio and make best connection with cable with connector SNA planning of instalation: in bay 43U plate of ground, 40U DFA ( dsit for arrester indorr ) 38U power box ( 3 breakers A and 3 Breakers B ) 36U to 40U RTN is placed. |
