“[My 9th Success Story] The version difference causes the BGP service fails”
|
Dear admin, One day I was in big problem because the BGP service fails after MA5680T R52 upgraded to R62SPC100. I put it to Huawei support website for necessary help & got below solution which saved my life actually. Again thanks Huawei team.
Solution Currently, the system cannot control whether BGP packets are permitted. The only method is to modify the VLAN attribute of BGP traffic streams to QinQ. After modification, the MA5680T transparently transmits VLAN traffic streams. 1. Delete traffic streams carrying the BGP service. The following uses service port 2 with VLAN 224 as an example. #undo service-port 2 2. Modify the attribute of VLAN 224 to QinQ. #vlan attrib 224 q-in-q 3. Create traffic streams with QinQ VLAN 224 and tag-transform transparent. #service-port 2 vlan 224 gpon 0/1/0 ont 1 gemport 130 multi-service user-vlan 224 tag-transform transparent #service-port 2 inbound traffic-table index 11 outbound traffic-table index 11 After modification, the BGP service is functional and the fault is rectified. |
