Due to high SDH bandwidth consumption for large amount of EoS service, we have replaced the EoS by PWE3 service using MPLS tunnel. This definitely reduced our SDH line capactiy consumption and we can now deploy 10G service without using SDH line capacity. Greatly reduced our CAPEX & Budget as well and providing excellent throughput as well.

I think this is a very creative solution for your network necesities. Then you can think in the implementation of a full mpls network by using the mpls TE tunnels (RSVP signaling), they are much dynamic than static LSP (static CR signaling).
