Fault Identification

This issue occurs when either of the following conditions is met:

• ALM-30053 Flow Control Alarm is generated on the alarm console.
• The value of the measurement entity Success Rate for IP-CAN Session Establishment of the measurement unit Interworking Between PCRF and PCEF is small.

Troubleshooting Method

A large number of messages fail to be processed over the Gx interface, and retransmitting the failed messages increases the message load substantially on the UPCC. Therefore, modify the setting of the software parameter bit 101 on the GGSN.

Troubleshooting Procedure

1. Contact GGSN maintenance engineers to enable the function of activating subscribers as non-PCC subscribers. The following is an example command:

   <UGW>system-view [UGW]display softpara bit 101

2. Check whether this alarm is cleared.
   • Yes: No further action is required.
   • No: Contact Huawei technical support engineers.
