Users need to observe the traffic on GE0/0/1 of the Router by using Host A and Host B.

The traffic on GE0/0/1 can be observed on Host A and Host B by configuring port mirroring or VLAN mirroring on the Switch.

#
observing-port 1 interface Ethernet0/0/2
observing-port 2 interface Ethernet0/0/3
#
interface Ethernet0/0/1
port link-type access
port default vlan 10
port-mirroring to observe-port 1 inbound
#
vlan 10
mirroring to observe-port 2 inbound

I believe it is a copy of Huawei documents. The device icons are obviously Huawei style. I hope you can post your original artical in future.

This pictures from this vendor, you are right. But Huawei allows to download device icons in a format Visio, and everyone can use them.

btw, simple use:

From Port Gi0/0/15 to port Gi0/0/16:

<huawei>  system-view

[huawei]  observe-port 2 interface GigabitEthernet0/0/16  // Where are we copy all traffic

[huawei-GigabitEthernet0/0/15]port-mirroring to observe-port 2  both

done.

Based on industry experience, the mirroring feature may involve obtaining personal data of users and the content of users communications (the product does not save, parse, or process such information) for the purpose of safeguarding network operation and protecting services. Huawei alone is unable to collect or save the personal data of users and the content of users communications. It is suggested that you activate the interception-related functions based on the applicable laws and regulations in terms of purpose and scope of usage. You are obligated to take considerable measures to ensure that the personal data of users and the content of users communications are fully protected when the personal data and the content are being used and saved.
