Faults of the HLR9820 are classified into three categories: -
Complaints from terminal users Complaints from terminal users belong to the service faults, which are classified into the following types - Call service faults
- Short Message Service (SMS) faults
- Supplementary Service (SS) faults
- Network access failures
- USSD failures
When the preceding service faults occur, handle the problems by referring to this manual. -
Alarms generated by the devices Handle this type of faults by referring to the alarm online help. -
Faults that occur when the operator performs routine operations, upgrade, cutover, or expansion. Faults reported by operators are classified into the following types: -
BOSS/SMU client operation failures Handle this type of faults by referring to the MML online help. -
LMT operation failures Handle this type of faults by referring to the MML online help. -
Faults related to the upgrade, cutover, or expansion Handle this type of faults by referring to the related guide. -
Faults detected during the routine maintenance process Handle this type of faults by referring to the Routine Maintenance.
