[My 3rd Success Story] IGP route is not exist “
|
Hi , one day during works i found IGP route is not exist. I visit the support case study & got my answer as below:
Problem that was similar with me: The S5600 running IBGP with cisco router. The S5600 is in ospf area which is 6.6.6.6. The cisco router is in ospf area 0. The area of 6.6.6.6 is NSSA area and it receive default route from area 0. The loopback ip address of cisco router is advertised in area 0. The phenomena is that S5600 IBGP peer can establish and it can learn the routes from cisco router but cant put the routes into the public ip routing-table. My helped solution from Huawei support site After analyse, its normally. But ciscos loopback ip address is advertised in area 0 and the area 6.6.6.6 is the NSSA area. So area 6.6.6.6 cant receive the loopback ip addresss route. When the bgp learn the routes from cisco router, then check the next hop, but the next hop not in the public routing-table, so it will think the next hop is unreachable, thats why the S5600 cant put the bgp routes into public routing-table. |
