The UMG8900 supports the1+1 backup function of the  A TM STM-1 interfaces.

This  feature  provides  the  backup  function  of  the  A TM  interface.  When  the  master  interface fails, services arenot interrupted.

 

The UMG8900 supports the1+1 backup function of the  A TM STM-1 interfaces. When the master interface fails, traf fic can be automatically switched to the slave interface of the slave board. Therefore, bearer services arenot interrupted.
