hi all.

there is one S5328 and it was working as singl mode. now they need multimode. and they have SFP working as multimode.

but when we add SFP to device and do dis transiever int gigx/x/x it shows all SFP parametr normaly just Transiever type shows UNKNOWN_SFP (Transiever type:UNKNOWN_SFP).

and want to know this SFP can work on this switch? why shows Transiever type:UNKNOWN_SFP?

i ask many guys they dont know exactly answer.

Work module will. And the output is only because the manufacturer did not submit data SFP Huaweis certification and therefore the switch will not be able to give information about the attenuation and the third-party SFP Module.

Did you talk to HQ about it? Maybe only they know it.
