Can you share the same PON port for ONTs and MxU?

The answer is yes, but is not recommended if the MxU is used as mobile backhauling (FTTM) because the large amaount of BW used by MxU and also because the FTTM network have the highest priority in the services, so it?s better to use independent PON port for FTTM and FTTH.

It?s better to use independent PON port for FTTM and FTTH, share the same PON port for ONTs and MxU will make the network maintenance very complex.
