The UMG8900 supports the globalpositioning system (GPS) clock synchronization, keeps trackof the satellite system, and provides the Stratum-1 clock. The performance specificationsof the GPS clock synchronization complies with the ITU-T G .811 clock standard.

The clock systems in the SSM-256 frame and the SSM-32 frame are different. In SSM-256 self-cascading, clock distribution cables are required todistribute clock signalsbetween frames

 

Is it BITS clock?

In this document, clock has been described for 256 & 32 frame, is it also applicable for 160 frame?
