Without MDS6600, cannot we actually measure the exact distance between two NE of DWDM ?

If you use MDS 6600 to finish the networking planning, the distance between two WDM NEs, which as one of the important specifications of the WDM ntework planning, has been inputted into the MDS 6600 and can be exported inot this networking diagram on U2000.

Then was OTDR to test the distance b/w two fiber locations, now we have a fiber doctor system to check it for us, its XFP's are 100K and 150K supported. Let me know if you want to know any further info.
