BEFFEC_EXC alarm in BOBET (NE Location)

Analysis:

This link was between BOBET-DHGMB (another NE Location)

RX Level was good at both end.  

RX level was varied by changing attenuation.

But alarm was not cleared.                                                                                                                              

Output power of Line Board (in this case ND2) is also normal.                                                                             

High insertion loss found in amplifier board (OAU) in interim one location GPTONR (NE location)

  

Actions taken:

To remove high insertion loss we change the DCM board that was connected between TDC & RDC port of OAU.

After changing DCM board insertion loss become normal and BEFFEC_EXC alarm cleared.
