After modification, some templates do not affect the service provisioning, but certain
templates do.
1. Templates that do not affect the service provisioning are as follows:
l Subscriber template
l Group ID template
l GPRS template
After a subscriber is defined based on a template of this type, the subscription data is
stored in a specific table in the database. Therefore, modification of the template
does not change the subscription data stored in the table.
2. Templates that affect the service provisioning are as follows:
l OFA template
l LCS template
l Regional Roaming template
l VLR/SGSN Roaming Restriction template
l VLR/SGSN template
l NCC template
l QoS template
l PDP template
l CAMEL templates: O-CSI, T-CSI, VT-CSI, U-CSI, SS-CSI, M-CSI, SMS-CSI,

GPRS-CSI, and D-CSI

When services are provided to a subscriber through these templates, the
corresponding template IDs are added to the table that stores the subscription data
of the subscriber. If a template is modified and the corresponding service is
activated, the service flow uses the new data of the template. Thus, the service
provided to the subscriber is different from that provided before the template is
modified.
Therefore, exercise caution when modifying these templates.
