Antenna Feeder Documentation
Description of Antenna Feeder The wireless antenna feeder product line aims to provide an optimal solution for the antenna feeder system used in mobile telecommunications networks. The antenna system refers to the equipment (including the antenna) installed between the base station main equipment and the antenna and used for transmitting and receiving mobile signals. The antenna system is an important part in the mobile telecommunications networks because its performance is crucial to the communication quality of the entire networks.
2. RCU: Remote Control Unit (RCU) drives the phase shifter in antenna through mechanical interface to change the electrical downtilt. RCU is suitable for daisy chain solution. 3. TMA: The tower mounted amplifier (TMA) is a low-noise amplifier installed near the antenna. It helps to improve the signal-to-noise ratio and enhance the receiving sensibility of the base station main equipment. 4. SBT: Smart Bias Tee (SBT) is used to convert signals between OOK and RS485. 5. Combiner: Combiner is designed for co-siting purpose. It can be used as a combiner near the BTS or in a reciprocal function near the antenna.
Now you can get all the antenna &ALD product documentations just from one link.
In addition, the antenna website is open to external users so that they can obtain the patterns of antenna products. The website also provides a tool to view the antenna patterns. Welcome to the trial! The web link is

| Good insights for a beginner...more could have been detailed regarding pros & cons of each product. Say for example, one can gain in UL by using TMA/SBT but then it should be used only if required otherwise there is a price for it. I have seen after couple of years, sites with TMA/SBT are the first to exhibit link imbalance. |
