[Case]Uploading a Case, Technical Paper, or Technical Application Scheme

Huawei and outsourcing engineers can upload cases, technical papers, and technology application schemes to the knowledge base of the Huawei support website (http://support.huawei.com/support/). Equipment users can upload only cases and technical papers. Common users do not have permission to upload documents. PrerequisitesYou have logged in to the Huawei support website. ProcedureStep 1 On the Huawei support website homepage,Click Contribute in the upper right corner. The My Space page is displayed. Step 2 Click Case at the bottom of the page. The page where you can write a case is displayed. Click Technical Paper or Technical Application Reference at the bottom of the page. The page where you can write a technical paper or technical application scheme is displayed. Step 3 Write the case. Step 4 Click Save As Draft to save your case as a draft.
The draft can be edited and viewed only in the area where you are located. For example, the draft that you save in the Huawei R&D area can be edited and viewed only in the R&D area; the draft that you save in the non-R&D area can be edited and viewed only in the non-R&D area; the draft that you save outside Huawei can be edited and viewed only outside Huawei. Step 5 Click Submit to Review. Operation ResultsA contributed case will be approved within two weeks. The case that has been approved will be published in cases on the knowledge base. Follow-up ProcedureView approval results and cases that have been published by choosing My Support > My Application > Contribution Application. |
