eRAN Reconfiguration Guide provides guidelines for eRAN reconfiguration. eRAN reconfiguration consists of capacity expansion and network reconstruction. The reconfiguration of a single feature is not described in this guide. For more information, see the corresponding FPD.

2) Documentation Description  

 

eRAN Reconfiguration Guide applies to DBS3900, BTS3900, BTS3900L, BTS3900A, BTS3900AL, and DBS3900 LampSite. It provides guidelines on the following aspects:

lRadio data reconfiguration: describes how to reconfigure eNodeB radio data, such as adding a cell, modifying the cell bandwidth, modifying the cell power, and modifying the base station sharing mode.

lTransport data reconfiguration: describes how to reconfigure eNodeB transport data, such as adding an MME connection, changing the security mode of the transport network, replacing the security gateway, and changing a device IP address.

lDevice data reconfiguration: describes how to reconfigure eNodeB device data, such as replacing the main control board and replacing the baseband processing unit.

lAdjusting eNodeB configurations: describes how to reconfigure eNodeB data, such as reconstructing an FDD eNodeB to an FDD+TDD eNodeB.
