How do I know the feature type in a new version, such as enhanced, new, or maintenance feature?

Answer

Feature List describes the changes of each feature, as shown in Figure 1-1.

E	Enhanced feature in the current version
N	New feature in the current version
M	Maintenance (no enhancement)
N/A	No FPDs are related to this feature in the current version.

Section "Introduction to LTE Feature" in the feature documentation such as (For Customer) eRAN7.0 Feature Documentation (HDX) also describes the type of each feature.
