HLR Contingency Plan (GU HLR9820 V900R003) Two types of fault may occur: 1. Identifying fault on MAP side2. Identifying fault on provisioning side Things to check first: 1. DSP license 2. DSP LICRATE 3. LST BRD (For SAU or signaling) & LST SBRD (For DRU & DSU query), For Detailed of node (DSP Node, type:DSU & DRU) 4.Performance result check 5. To check LST MAPCONF & LST MAPSERV 6. To check the device panel Typical fault scenario: 1. A large number of subscribers fail to access the network or receive calls Possible cause: 1. FE & BE is faulty 2. DS system is abnormal 3. License is invalid 2. Provisioning system unavailable Possible cause: 1. Communication link between system & SMU server faulty 2. TWO smu server are faulty 3. If any DMU is faulty Quick identification of a fault: 1.SAU (Signalling) board gets faulty: a) Check board status b) Check by giving command DSP Node c)reset the corresponding load sharing board for load sharing d/for active & standby, first reset, then swap if it not works then remove.so,the board will not process any service. Fault between SCU(FE) & DS(BE) a)Check the bearer network if QOS is degraded or optmt in MAP configuration is high |
