When an operator decides to use an eRAN sales feature, the operator must purchase a license for the feature. The license is classified into capacity license and feature license. The capacity license specifies the specifications supported by the hardware, and the feature license indicates the license control item of an optional feature. In practice, operators plan the license resources in view of the capacity and features, and purchase licenses according to the license planning.

2) Documentation Description

License Control Item Lists helps you quickly learn mappings between all sales features in the current version and the licenses. This document describes the capacity licenses and feature licenses in tables:

• The Capacity Licensetable describes all capacity licenses in the current version. The description for each capacity license includes Model, Description, Unit, and Supported NE Type.
• The Feature Licensetable describes licenses for all optional features in the current version. The description for each feature license includes Feature ID, Feature Description, Model, and Unit.

In this way, you can directly learn all required information in a table or search for other related information in the table based on one known item, such as model.

eRAN3.0 and its earlier versions:
