I have used the scan tool and works great! in fact I tested this tool before the official release and before it doesn?t work so fine as today. The improvement it?s great. Other possitive aspect is that you can check many kind of devices.

I think that the link for more details it?s ok because you can have a very good snapshot of whats the pourpose of the board and the basic functions, but maybe you can add a link to more information like configuration guide for example or troubleshooting links related to the board. That would be really great!

I think you can add a link to troubleshooting cases related to the board or configuration guide. Also would be great if you can add more devices like DWDM/CWDM family with detailed information. For field engineers this tool can help them a lot!

For me, the most useful part of the scanning tool is the detailed information, because you can have a quick x-ray of the board to understand its functions and features.

Your suggestion of adding troubleshooting links related to the board is very good. I will put it to the request list and discuss it with the team. 

For configuration, do you mean the configuration command lines or where the board can be configured in the shelf?

There is plan to add more products with detailed information step by step. For which products will be added earlier depends on customers requests. Now I put the DWDM/CWDM product in the list as you request. My team will discuss about the priority of all products. Thanks for the advice.

1. Have you used the bar code scanning tool?

Answer:  yes.I have used the scan tool and works great!  This totally awesome. 

         2.When do you want to use it?

Answer: after getting a new device, I dont know all at a glance. Now I can quickly check it without searching the hedex / huawei document.

        3.Which part of the scanning result is useful to you?

Answer: the useful part of the scanning tool is the information detail  which ultimately gives me total understanding at a glance.

        4.Where do you think the tool can be still improved in future?

Answer:   you should add necessary link for configuration, case study , product road-map etc.

It is very important & useful tool. I like it very much....
