Hello, dear Djemai, RTN equipment can also provide E-LAN service over MPLS network, this service also called Virtual private LAN service (VPLS) in RTN equipment, which uses VSI (virtual switch instance) to provides a Layer 2 forwarding. You can just put an RTN equipment on the blue circle you drawn. And here is an example for mobile back haul. And as my opinion, if E-tree is a p2mp sercice, QinQ or just 802.1q can share a port for multi source, they can also look like E-tree in native Ethernet. In MPLS network implement by RTN, we use E-Aggr service to work as E-tree. The following is an example. For more detail, please refer to RTN documention, and we can also keep sharing in here :) (for Ethernet services in MPLS network, refer to http://support.huawei.com/hdx/hdx.do?docid=DOC1000092556&id=tc_pfc_ethpw_0001&text=ETH%2520PWE3&lang=en) Best Regards! |
