Hi friends, recently we upgraded NE software in OSN6800/8800 in our network;

Hence sharing some information with you.

Before starting upgradation you should do following activity--

• NE Database backup
• Querying current software version
• NE health status check
  
• Checking status of the NE database
• Checking the status of the ODUk Spring Protection group
• Checking communication bandwidth

After performing all these activities you need to analysis the result to take decesion for software upgradation
