Applicable NEs: SGSN

This command is used to add characteristics information for a specified GGSN. If this command is not executed, the QoS version is R99, the private information is not sent, and the GTP-C path version rule is negotiated.

 

 

 

This command is very usefull when dealing with other Roaming networks.when RAT type is not specified in the GGSNCHARACT, for option "Special GGSN" some OCS diameter will reject PDP returning error 4011 which indicate serveral reasons  in this case, RAT type is Unknown to is sent to OCS from the roamed SGSN/USN.

 

You will need to add (ADD GGSNCHARACT) specifying the GGSN IP of the roamers network.
