A tried also the beta bar code scanning tool, but it is much better that you put it in the Huwei techical support app. It is working perfectly for me.

I would like to mention two things. First that Google play contains version 1.8.5 at now, but the latest one is 1.8.6. The second that it can be helpful if the software saves the scans in a history.

Thank you very much for the comment.

The APP version on Google play was 1.8.5 due to some release mistake. Thanks to your comment, the development team have updated the APP version to 1.8.6 on Google play now.

As for your second advice, I guess you might want to check the board information without scanning the board again. If it is true, there is another solution. You can click for details after scanning the bar code. Then click the star at the bottom and add the board to your favorte. Whenever you want to check the board, you can easily find it in your favorite.
