SFN Feature Parameter Description
|
1. Application Description 1) Service Description The single frequency network (SFN) feature allows an eNodeB to use two to seven remote radio units (RRUs) in different areas to serve one SFN cell. This way, the original cell edges are changed into the SFN cell center, and interference is mitigated on control channels and traffic channels in intra-frequency networks of densely populated areas. SFN has two types of scheduling modes and applies to three scenarios based on the connection of the RRUs and baseband processing units.
